In this class you’ll learn: Why table saw injuries occur and how to avoid them; which safety accessories are most important and how to use them effectively; tips for making accurate rip cuts along the grain; pro techniques for making clean crosscuts across the grain; how to produce accurate miter and bevel cuts; how to overcome the unique challenges of large sheet goods; ways to repeat identical cuts quickly; how to prevent chip-out for cleaner, better looking cuts; how to minimize scorching and blade mark; which blades to use, and when to clean or sharpen them; how to use feather boards other accessories, and more!

It's later in the season - and it's time to start putting those seedlings you've been nurturing indoors to work! Bring your seedling plant starts to share and take home. Seed catalogs, seeds, gardening books, tools, pots, etc. are welcome items to swap! We will have some small bags available for seeds for you to label and take home. Please bring a box or bag with you to take any items home.

Ice dyeing is the art of using ice cubes on top of fabric, then sprinkling dye powder on top of the ice, letting the melting process dictate how the dye splits and bleeds, and where it ultimately lands on the fabric–leading to surprising and delightful results every time.
