Intro to Wheel Throwing at Kalamazoo Kiln Room

Learn the basics of wheel throwing in our introductory class!

Each participant will learn how to center, pull, and shape pieces on the wheel, as well as the basics of glazing fired pieces. Classes include all of the clay and tools you'll need to create your very own works of art!

This class meets each Monday and Wednesday from 5:30pm-8:00pm between October 6th and October 22nd. We recommend wearing an apron or clothes you don't mind getting messy.

The Kalamazoo Kiln Room is a membership-based ceramics studio in Kalamazoo, MI. Members have access to wheels, clay, glaze, group firings, tools, and so much more! Located in Suite 25 of the North building. Find out more.

FIND US:
The Kalamazoo Kiln Room is located in the North Jerico Building, in the same building as Fiddle Leaf Cafe. Park in the north lot and enter through double grey doors located at the back of the building. We are located in Suite 25.
