This Summer At Jerico
School is out and it’s officially June! Summer might be one of our best seasons in Michigan, and it surely is our favorite at Jerico. From walks in the alleyway gardens, iced lattes at the cafe, and tons of events on the calendar - it’s a special time to slow down and give us a visit during the year.
This summer, instead of going out for evening drinks - try your hand at making some homecrafted, foraged cordials! Jerico resident Angie Jackson of Elixir House, is an expert on kitchen witch recipes like those in her self-published books “Drink The Wild” and “Bittered The Wild”. Angie creates recipes “for the spirited and sober soul”. In her latest blog, she features history, insight, and the recipe for “The Forest Sprite Cordial”.
Jerico Art Hop is Here!
As 2026 continues to unfold, our community of residents keeps growing! We’ve welcomed many new creatives to Jerico this past year, and we’re excited to spotlight both new and longtime residents in our upcoming monthly newsletters.
Check out this feature on Weavers Unlimited—or even better, visit us at Art Hop on May 1st to meet many of our residents in person! Can’t make it? We have plenty of upcoming events on the calendar for you to explore. And if you’ve ever dreamed of becoming a Jerico resident yourself, keep reading to learn about our newest studio opening.
