Strengthen and Act: Grounded Action Pt. 3 for a Free Palestine at Kalamazoo Backyard Yogis
This session centers building strength and steadiness so engagement can be supported, not forced. Led by Andy Bachman (they/them) 500-Hour Yoga Instructor and embodied liberation worker. Ticket costs support a monetary donation to HEAL Palestine.
Sustaining care and action over time is hard. Especially when the world feels heavy and the pressure to respond feels constant. Burnout often comes not from lack of care, but from trying to hold too much alone. This session centers building strength and steadiness so engagement can be supported, not forced. The movement practice will include standing and supported postures designed to build physical strength and emotional stamina. Options using the wall or chair will be offered so the practice remains accessible. Following movement, there will be time to reflect, dream, and name next steps. Both personal and communal. The focus is on sustainability and staying connected to our values without urgency or exhaustion.
Sliding Scale: Supported, Standard, Community/Pay It Forward →$20/$35/$50 per session
or $50/$85/$125 for the entire 3-part series (divided up between each ticket price, see ticketing for details)
This event is part 1 of Grounded Action (for Palestine). You are welcome to attend this session on its own. Each ticket purchased supports a monetary donation to HEAL Palestine, a non-political nonprofit providing relief and support through Health, Education, Aid, and Leadership.
