Uncalled Four is three friends who have enjoyed making music with each other since high school. Together Nick Birchler, Jack Stargardt, and Will Murphy bring a fun and laid back vibe to trio music. 

9:00 - Liam Drzewicki

The Liam Drzewicki Quintet is led by an aspiring drummer native to Kalamazoo, who is working on completing his undergraduate degree in Jazz Drum Set at Western Michigan University. Bassist Donovan Meeusen is an up-and-comer in the West Michigan music scene, establishing himself as a reliable, yet creative bassist who excels in jazz and gospel settings. Donovan is also getting his performance degree in Jazz music from Western Michigan University. On tenor saxophone, Miles Lekan is also a native of Kalamazoo, studying at Western Michigan University for his undergraduate degree in Jazz Saxophone performance. Playing jazz saxophone since early high school, Miles provides energetic, emphatic lines that will keep your ear engaged and the music moving forward. Hans Hansen on guitar is a very technically proficient jazz musician who is both incredibly imaginative and versatile. Any genre, from rock to hip-hop to jazz, you’ll find this Michigan State University jazz graduate beautifully supporting with a huge capability to shred. Nick Birchler is a young, but already experienced jazz musician, breaking into the scene at a rapid pace. Coming from the Western Michigan University Jazz Piano studio, Nick plays with a strong sense of the blues and is always utilizing his great ear for improvising.
